Village Hopper – Keeping the villages connected
A community, not for-profit, 16-seater minibus service. Serving the villages of Grendon, Castle Ashby, Whiston, Cogenhoe, Brafield, Little Houghton & Great Houghton. Operated by Cogenhoe & Whiston Parish Council and jointly funded by the parishes. The bus currently picks up passengers at The White hart and will on request pick up and drop off further up the village at The Green. For further information click the update link below. Please note that from Thursday 26th March 2020 until further notice the Village Hopper is operating the Saturday Timetable each day of the week.
Bedford Bus (Route 41)
Daily returns Bedford Northampton including Biddenham. Bromley and Olney. Operated by Stagecoach. The bus picks up from stops at the bottom of the village High Street on either side of the A428 Bedford Road depending on direction of travel an run normally every hour during peak times. For a full timetable click the link below. Bus Travel Passes are accepted on this service. Please note that this bus can often be running late from Bedford to Northampton due to traffic issues. Ability Community Transport
A ‘not for profit’ social enterprise providing a community bus service to residents who need transport for shopping, hairdressers, banks and simply getting out and about. A fee based membership scheme with arranged pick up and drop off points. For further details click the links below:
