The Parish Council being most concerned with recent county council budget cuts leading to the loss of mobile library service to the village, is pleased to advise that having purchased the dis-used BT Telephone Kiosk in the High Street, it has now been refurbished and converted into a free book-swap/library facility.
You are most welcome to enjoy your favourite reads, have a browse, take a book, then bring it back or leave another in its place. You can even do the same with jigsaws.
The council is most grateful to Katie Browett and John Marrs for their valuable assistance with this project.
Our local author, John Marrs, was most impressed with the quality and variety of book donated by residents.
